Marketability

  4. Marketability

For a food product to be marketable, it must be safe, fit for human consumption and supplied in accordance with applicable regulations. Then in addition a complete and accurate declaration for the desired marketing area is needed. Food industry suppliers must therefore be aware of and fulfill their obligations and responsibilities arising from EU Regulation No. 178/2002 and the German Food and Feed Code (LFGB), each having downstream regulatory effects.

Better safe than sorry - this applies also to the marketability of food. An independent examination in our laboratory protects you, regardless whether it is an initial examination or part of regular checks!

In order to align one's own design wishes for labeling with the legal requirements, extensive knowledge and experience are necessary, always taking into consideration current topics and developments.

We focus mainly in the area of milk and dairy products as well as vegetarian and vegan foods.  We also check other food groups upon request. If you want to establish the marketability of your products, you have come to the right place. Sensory and microbiological tests, nutritional value analyses, examinations of special ingredients, or testing for residues and contaminants, are all part of our routine analytical procedures.

We also offer a wide range of tests beyond the above mentioned analyses, e.g. on chemical-physical properties.

Do you have a special request? Please contact us! We can provide you with marketability certificates,
expert reports and statements, and advise you on food law issues or official complaints.
