Reference materials
The use of Reference materials is an important part of quality assurance in the laboratory. They are used in metrological traceability,
validating procedures and ensuring the validity of results, and are designed for long-term implementation.
Compared to regular participation in Proficiency tests, which is also an integral part of quality assurance in the laboratory, Reference materials can be used whenever you need them, i.e. you determine the time and frequency of use. Also using the reference values for comparison, you can quickly and independently evaluate your own analyses and react or take preventive action, if needed.
In our current Product Price List you will find Reference materials for the dairy and food sectors, covering chemical-physical, microbiological and sensory analyses. Of course, all such materials obtainable from us are tested prior for homogeneity and stability. Certainly there will be something here of interest to you.
Special regulations for reference materials:
To ensure the safe delivery of your reference materials, we will be shipping from 2025 up to and including 17 December 2025. In the new year, we will start shipping again on 7 January 2026. What should you do if you urgently need reference materials in the meantime? Contact us and we will work with you to determine how you can receive the materials safely (phone: +49 831/5290-233, email: RM(at)muva.de).

Once you have found Reference materials that you would like to order, we welcome your doing so using the order form or an informal e-mail. You also can order Reference materials on a subscription basis and you will then receive the materials you need on a regular basis (weekly or monthly). We will be pleased to prepare an offer for you.
We will process your order as quickly as possible. Shipping normally takes place from Monday to Wednesday. This ensures that your package will arrive on time before the weekend!
